About us
The Ökumenische Pilgerinitiative Vorpommern (Ecumenical Pilgrims' Initiative Western Pomerania) is a registered non-profit association that is committed to the promotion and spiritual deepening of pilgrimage work in Western Pomerania. The initiative is supported by the Catholic and Lutheran churches.
Membership application Statutes The association organizes training courses for pilgrims, pilgrimage services, pilgrimage days and pilgrimages. In the pilgrims' chapel in St. Jakobi Stralsund, a pilgrims' vespers service is held on Tuesdays from May to September and the Liturgy of the Hours is prayed on Wednesdays in the morning. On Fridays, the Stralsund city pilgrimage begins here with a midday prayer.
